To be successful and happy in whatever I end up doing.

08. hip hop influences:
Heavy D and the Boys, Boyz II Men, Public Enemy, and all the other acts that were putting out hits back in the early 90’s. Back when my boys were listening to Pearl Jam and Aerosmith, I was humpin’ around to Bobby Brown.

09. most memorable hip hop moment:
Seeing Wyclef Jean at the HFStival in Washington D.C. He the most energizing act of the concert and the entire crowd was going nuts. The crazy part about it is that the show was put on by a rock music radio station.

10. what do you love about madisons hip hop scene:
Heads in Madison are true to themselves. No one just rhymes about bitches and escalades, there is a lot more thought and content put into the rhymes.

11. what would you change about madisons hip hop scene:
Instead of just having a show with one act performing there needs to be things that will bring the people out. MC battles would be a great first step, along with shows that promote more than a couple acts.

12. describe the first time you “felt” hip hop:
I bought Naughty by Nature’s first album back in fourth grade. I asked my parents to put the tape in the car when we were driving home from the record store. It wasn’t 30 seconds into OPP before my parents took out the tape and told me I couldn’t listen to it. I didn’t understand what they were staying, but I knew if my parents didn’t want me to hear it, it must tight.

13. philosophy on life:
Everything will work itself out.

14. other interests beyond hip hop:
Politics, Playing and watching sports (Redskins baby!), traveling, chillin’.
